Excerpt from the Labour Act regarding Temporary Employment Agencies:

The Concept of an Agency
Article 220a (Article 231)


(1) The Temporary Employment Agency (hereinafter: the Agency) is an Employer, which in accordance with the Temporary Staffing Agreement assigns a Worker (hereinafter: the Temporary Worker) to another Employer (hereinafter: the Beneficiary) to perform temporary activities.

(2) The Agency shall conduct temporary staffing activities solely for the Beneficiaries inside the country, provided these activities are conducted as a single activity, that it is registered in compliance with the Trade Company legislation and entered in the Registry of the Ministry competent for labour activities (hereinafter: the Ministry).

(3) The Agency shall not begin to conduct staffing activities for Beneficiaries prior to its entrance in the Ministry’s Registry.
